Hello, my name is Melanie Gray and I’m the Owner of Digitally Ahead Marketing. I’ve been working in Marketing for over 20 years and worked for some well-known brands such as the RNLI, Liverpool Victoria, Portman Building Society and Teachers Assurance.

I first got into Digital Marketing 20 years ago, when I set-up my own e-commerce business from scratch selling a wide range of christening gifts nationally. During this time, I quickly learnt how to use Search Engine Optimisation techniques & Google Ads successfully, on a small budget to grow my home business year on year over a 10-year period, at best achieving an annual turnover of £160,000 with a profit margin of 30%.

Since then I’ve had several digital marketing roles at local businesses in Dorset, assisting with their SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads & Email Marketing. Over the last 18 months I’ve been working as a Freelance Digital Marketing Consultant for small, local businesses in Dorset & Hampshire and throughout the UK.

Highlights of my freelance career to date include increasing sales month on month, resulting in an increase in sales of over 100 per cent in 2018 compared to 2017 using Facebook Ads & Google Ad Campaigns for The Travel Franchise.

I’m Google Ad certified and I’m highly experienced in using Google Analytics to set-up conversion goals and provide detailed analysis on campaigns. I’m also well versed in setting up and managing sales funnels.
